Entry Level Welder/Product Assembler
1. SCOPE
Perform a variety of assembly operations on precision
mechanical assemblies and subassemblies while learning welding, grinding and
other manufacturing processes through hands-on training. This position is ideal
for individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn a skilled trade,
and interested in building a long-term career in manufacturing. Some previous
welding and/or grinding experience is preferred but not required as training
will be provided.
2. COMPANY
The company, located adjacent to McGuire Air Force Base, New
Jersey, is a market leader in the field of moisture control and air
purification. It designs and produces a wide range of desiccators, molecular
sieve filters, dehydrators and humidity indicators for the Department of
Defense and prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Raytheon.
3. JOB DISIPLINES

Learn to safely operate welding and grinding
equipment, hand tools, power tools, and production machinery.
·
Receive hands-on training in welding, grinding
and other manufacturing processes from experienced team members.
·
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints,
specifications, and assembly procedures.
·
Assemble precision mechanical components,
subassemblies, and finished products.
·
Position and secure parts using a variety of
assembly methods, including fastening, riveting, crimping, sealing, soldering,
and welding (as training progresses).

Operate production equipment such as arbor,
punch, and drill presses.
·
Work with cleaning agents, adhesives, and other
manufacturing materials while following all safety procedures and wearing
required PPE.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets
quality standards and customer specifications.
·
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work
environment.
·
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to
support quality and on-time delivery.
4. REPORTING
This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
5. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
·
High School Diploma or GED
·
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
6. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be willing to learn and successfully
complete required training, testing, and certification programs related to the
position. Drytech will provide hands-on training, skill development, and
evaluation to help employees build proficiency in welding, grinding and other
manufacturing processes.
